In Fall of 2008, Alisha Jones began her freshman year at the University of South Carolina. She was involved in several organizations, but she wanted something more. Alisha had an interest in joining a sorority, but noticed that she did not feel as if she fit into any of them. She noticed that the University of South Carolina had a diverse population that was growing and felt that Greek Life should grow alongside.

She soon realized that several other women felt the same way.

A group of determined women became the official USC Colony of Zeta Sigma Chi Multicultural Sorority Incorporated in order to change the face of Greek life. But the journey did not stop there. This group had many tasks to complete which including fundraising, traveling, and lots of volunteer work in the community.

On August 21, 2010, Zeta Sigma Chi Multicultural Sorority, INC, welcomed the RADIANT LADIES of the Rho Chapter at University of South Carolina into their sisterhood:

Alisha Jones
Erika Aparicio
Denishia Macon
Krystal Wilder
Jade McDuffie

The ladies will continue their quest to revolutionize Greek Life, serve the community, and "Keep the Dream Alive" for years to come.
